Johann Aegidius Bach [8] (Musician)

Born: baptized February 11, 1645 - Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany
Died: buried November 22, 1716 - Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany

Johann Aegidius Bach [8] was son of Johann(es) [Hans] Bach [4]. In 1671 he was a violinist in the Erfurt town music, becoming its director in 1682. From 1690 he also held the position of organist at St Michael's, in succession to Johann Pachelbel.
